Design Project - CeeDee's Luxe Lounge
In 2011 I began this project with the idea of using my design skills to take an ordinary home office, and transform it into the ultimate creative space, and chill hangout. I had a very limited budget, so I created it using clearance items, Ikea furniture, and hand me downs. I painted the ceiling the same color as two of the walls, and used two shades of grey to give the room a cave like feel, with no wall delineation. Then built sliding wall art panels that would insulate sound. Alison Williamson dubbed it The Luxe Lounge! The project continues to evolve over the years...
